Starting on oct 21st will be a contest of a lot of fun prizes but it's main suit will be 3D. However! Concept artists can pair up with 3D artists to split the prizes or collab if they'd like. It'll span across the 3 main digital 3d categories and they are: 3-dimensional, Game Development Art 3D art, and Fanart 3D!
It's also the start of the educate week for game development art, which will transition into the educate week for the 3D category. So lot's going on!
What I'd like from you if you could:
What are some things you'd like to learn more about? Who are some artists you'd like to learn more about on DA? What are some improvements to GDA or 3D you would like to see? Anyone who answers these questions for me will be entered into a mini draw to win a secret prize (it may be a video game..it may be a program who knows you won't know unless you give it a shot and try to win it. ) Winner will be announced on oct 21st!
You can post in this journal, or note me whichever you find easier the answer for the above questions!
3D modelers, get ready for DA's fun 3D contest challenge I think you're going to like it, and the prizes won't be too bad either!
It's called 3-Differences...more on it will be revealed on the 21st when the contest launches!
thanks everyone!

Wow...I feel like I've been gone for, forever!
...wow! I remember years ago, Deviant Art was like a second home...but life takes you far from your home sometimes and I don't always remember to come back!
I have done so much...Art is now my full time income, I own a business! www.facebook.com/bahamutdawn/ We make cosplay props, accessories, casual clothing and all kinds of geeky art! We even have 6 3d printers now... 6!!! it's so amazing to physically touch my 3d models that i've done digitally for so many years!
Polymune has more or less become my hobby side of things instead of my business. It's also become where i post my cosplays, which I've more or less gotten back into!
So! I'm go
highschool...oh the memories
If I still have a few high school friends who are following me and/or this doesn't apply to the very few I still have on Facebook, I apologize this is probably not what you'll want to hear xD
Looking back, High school was one of my worst years of life. I tried to ohard to fit in, made up stories so people would like me, fell into a heap of drama and basically, wasted my time hanging around awful people then actually doing anything meaningful.
When people ask you if you want to go back to high school, I say a big no and that I'd never want to repeat that hell.
High school is around the time you hit puberty too, so your body is going through

Any big goals you guys have?
For me it's get better at archery with my own brand new Compound bow.
Build a strong 3D character portfolio as I have a good shot at Bethsda in Montreal and I don't wanna blow it.

Wow it's been forever since I updated my journal here!
Those of you who stuck around, life has been amazingly busy for me this past year!
I took on more conventions to try and sell at...including one in Calgary! It was exciting to visit Alberta with friends and experience Calgary Expo in the Artist Alley.
Anime North 2016 was the best year ever for me for Crafter's Corner! So amazing to see everyone love my dresses so much and I just love the vibe at that con...everyone seems so happy, excited and it feels like you are actually in an anime show xD
Sadly, my hotel experience wasn't so great...Radisson messed up our reservations and stuck u
