March was 3D Game-art month
For March I featured all 3D Game art only to raise awareness of the hidden gems within the category and show 3D some lovin'! I'll have a poll up soon asking what you'd like June to be
Since june is the month of my birthday, thought it'd be fun to have another feature month! For the winner of the 3D month, it'll have to be postponed until I'm back to making some money since I was off for so long and barely made rent
I can't afford the prize and it wouldn't be fair. So! when i get the money back up, I'll post the winner. (I'll be going to a convention I paid for in January in May, but sadly wont' have any money to buy anything..but i'm cosplaying so that's all that matters!).March DD's - and a bit of explanation why I chose them
- I wanted to feature a really unique looking character with both skill but uniqueness from the typical work we see. It's creepy, and cool at the same time!:thumb359695426: - sci-fi environments are the most common of Enviro's done, but it's always cool to find ones with a bit of creative flair to it like this one
- something that should've gotten featured a long time ago but I was surprised didn't, dominance war competition work always pulls out some stellar stuff, this character is no exception!
- Modular design is HUGE in the gaming world, and something all 3D artists should be able to create. This building reflects good modular design of a building that could be implimented multiple times.
- I try to go for more or less, less mainstream work because really..we'd get bored seeing the same stuff featured all the time am I right? This character adds a unique spin to the muscular man!
- ...female character design, especially 3D models are more hidden then you may think! To come up with a creative way to portray them, while still showing off the model can be challenging..not for this artist though, wow!
These two artists work may look similar, but indeed they are two different 3D artists working together at the same company. They are a wicked team, and great people and it was my pleasure to feature both of their works within the same month
- she grew on me! I had her suggested a few times and the final time I looked at her and saw just how much the artist worked on her, and how much progression he made to his skill with her. Look past the sexyness, and you'll see a lot of talent here! Try it 
:thumb354088806: - dark, gloomy, alleyway- it's been done, but the presentation here is what brought my eye too it. This artist is definitely progressing fast!
:thumb354111914: - who doesn't love Sci-fi indie titles? They are more rarer then you think! I swear I've seen a lot, but this team, these artists...dedicate so much to this game and it already looks so good! Had to feature one of their key artists, awesome stuff
- creative creature design! digging the silohette and attention to detail with this one

This artists presentation of his environment here is outstanding!
- westerns, with a creative twist It doesn't happen often, thats why I took great pride featuring this lovely character!
- kicked off the month with this artist for a reason: He is a constant inspiration within the 3D community and dedicates a lot of time helping other artists. His work is stellar, and he's a great guy! Differences
Yes, I like to feature stuff out of the oridinary, something that's good but you'd never think would get a feature...because the 3D art world isn't so black and white, and there's beauty in a lot of different designs. Yea I could feature all the popular work all the time, get those artists 5200+ favourites,etc...and I do that from time to time, but something I find..like a diamond in the rough, is to find something deep within the gallery that's outstanding but you may not have ever known about.
That's how I feature. 3D takes a lot of skill, talent, etc and showing off these artists work gives me great pride and love
