Description

So I started modeling a female head for practice as I want to get better at modeling and texturing.

She is being kept in the lower poly range because I'm trying to aim my portfolio for all game ready models (minus the high poly's for normal maps of course).

Turning out not too bad! Not following any tutorials, just female references to get the body parts correct.

I find I'm micro adjusting vert's a lot :faint: well once I get better at modeling characters hopefully I won't do that anymore as it's pretty time consuming :B

You guys voted to start seeing WIP's well here they start!

(yes her ear is a little wonky and not attached, still planning it out. included the wireframe for anyone looking to critique it so far. It's also not duplicated because it's not attached yet).

Pretty happy with how it smooths out! Going to be fun to sculpt in zbrush. :)

Learning a lot of 'what not to do' with this piece :giggle:

A recommendation to help fix the "Seam" at the center of the head. In my experience, if you add 1 more row very close to the center and bend it almost flat, it will make the joining smoother. :)

I hope that makes sense. But it looks good either way.
