Spring Time Innocence

Description

This took me almost a month off and on an hour or two here and there to finish.

I wanted to prove to myself that I could paint really well semi realism if I just put in a lot of time and effort.

Spring Time Innocence is the end result!

It's a self portrait, kind of. My hair isn't quite that short, and I have had one eye blue and one eye green since I was 12. My eyes are now so light of a blue they are mistaken for grey eyes lol

I figure who's the best person to look at for semi realism and I went with me lol.

I am pretty proud of most of it! All new colouring and painting techniques. Just proves if you relax and take your time on your artwork, amazing things can happen.

Best digital art piece I've done hands down!
I even did skin texture, and look freckles! :D

There's only minor tweaks I'd want to do...her under eye a bit and her eyebrow.

This is my push for spring to come so I can stop feeling gloomy! lol!

What do you guys think?

Her name will be "Liz"

P.S. i didn't watermark it crazily because 1) i know i did it and 2) takes away from it. So i signed it, like normal artists do.

Wow, so much detail! I'm not extremely confident enough in my abilities to write good critique, so I'll just stick with a normal comment. :)

If there's anything that I think you could look into improving, I'd probably point out the area around her ear and her eyebrow (which you already want to improve anyway). I don't really see much trouble with the ear itself, but I think you could add just a little bit of hair right there (sideburns! :D) But other than that, I really think you've improved! I'm loving the skin texture you used; the freckles are a lovely touch.
